I got no taste. I really wasn't crazy about the last shot. Initially it was this shot of the capital



OK shot but it didn't do much for me so I ran it through a plug in called "flood" and got



Didn't want anybody thinking that the last shot was any good photography just some PS manipulation.

Appreciate the honesty -- something you don't come by often from DC. Yes, I'm very cynical.

I was wondering where the heck you could get such a pesprective. Seems like we would have seen that elsewhere. In anycase, its great. To me, its not about photography, its about awesome images -- the end result. This image is awesome. (I would like to have seen the top of the spire in the reflection. Was that an artistic choice which I'm boorishly miscomprehending, or did you just run out of room?)

Thanks for the kind words. I really tried to get the whole spire in but that required raising the level of the "water". When I raised the 'water" level the "reflections" of the trees was less interesting. In the end I opted for the trees over the spire.

Hi all,

Went to DC on business last week. I had one day free for some
photography, naturally it snowed and sleeted on that day but I
managed to take some pics.

Went out at night



Saw some politicians



Went to the Air & Space Museum



Paid my respects



Told you the weather was lousy

Geez, I post a few shots, wake up to find my car buried in snow,
have a cup of coffee & check on STF before I go out and shovel and
what do I find? Folks ganging up on poor old Teddy. I'm warning you
that I have about 20 shots of Ted and will start posting them
unless you all back off!
