2 questions re switch from PC to Mac

I came back to Explorer iIn Windows) a first times to check the modified date. There was no change in the date. Looking at the properties of the photo in PSE6 also showed no change in the modified date. I wonder if the data is being saved somewhere else? Could the file be modified to include tags and properties info WITHOUT the modified date changing?

I've had great fun by bolting my MacMini to the back of an Acer 20" display using MACCUFF (~$37). This makes a wonderful way of toting around my slideshow presentations. As soon as Snow Leopard becomes generally available, I'll buy it and replace my pre-Intel MacMini. MacMini can also be used to run Windows (if really needed). It also can be upgraded with additional memory and faster/larger SATA drives. OWC has a 500GB 2.5 SATA drive for a little over $100. OWC's videos show how to make MacMini mods (memory and HD are the best bets).
