My dealer already got tracking confirmation for his shipment, and
it should be here Friday morning. I'm in northern Connecticut.

My local camera shop here in eastern NC called me yesterday ( I
didn't call them) and told me that my MKII is in transit to their
shop. Should be there tomorrow hopefully or monday at the latest.
They were only allocated one this go around. Slim pickings here in
eastern NC.

No I'm #4 on the waiting list at Dominion Camera in Falls Church
VA. I paid in full, they only have 9-10 pre-orders there (last time
I checked). There Canon rep should be visiting tomorrow to let them
know about arrival. I can't wait any more, its killing me.

I put a $1,200 deposit down about 4 weeks ago, and put the rest
down on Monday.

I also went to Dominion after reading Geff's post. I'm next on the list, according to Rolando, but no camera yet (and I did pay in full in mid-March). Oh well, you pays your money and you takes your chances!

Since the wait is also killing me, I assume there will be an article soon in the photo press about a strange epidemic knocking off amateur and pro photogs around the nation. I just hope I can hang on for a bit longer....
