Anyone familiar with Markese photography? I've been following some of his work on his website for a few months now and ran into more of his work at soakmag.

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with what technique he uses, equipment, etc.... How does he achieve these types of photos? I think he does great work and I would love to experiment with that kind of lighting. What would be a good way for me to start learning this type of photography (Besides a beautiful model of course)? Here's the link to some of his work:

Her uses hot lights as someone else said. He came on here last month asking about strobes which I thought was interesting. He does great work but he is a perfect example of why you should learn to use strobes first.

Well it does not matter to me what he uses. His work is very good. He is also has made his mark in the style of shooting that he does. I sort of look at Richard's work like I look at Paul Popes work, both are excellent.
