Does anyone have a paper recommendation for printing pano's on the i950? Canon doesn't appear to make "long" paper. I'd like to be able to do ~ 8" x 24" pano's on my i950 but don't want to waste money on paper that doesn't work well with the i950.

Once I find the printer anyway. I went to Best Buy with the intention of buying it, but they didn't have any:(

Yes, 23.x, I just added a bit to make it easier to type. Still
don't know what paper to use to get more than 11" on length.
The only paper I know of that comes in that size is Epson Panoramic Photo Paper (8.3"x23.4"). This is NOT one of the Epson Premium papers - it's the same paper as the Epson Photo Glossy that is $20/100 sheets at Costco. It should work with your printer without any major problems, but the output might be a little flat, I'm not sure (I don't have any Canon printers). If you want one of the top grade papers and don't mind cutting, you can buy roll paper and cut it yourself.

You can order it through best buy customer fullfillment and free
shipping right to your home......
I thought I read that someone saw one at Sam's Club, and thought I'd check it out too.

The HP I have now I saw at Sam's with a slightly different number, but I think you didn't get the software extras there. It's been several years though, so I could be mistaken on that.

Sam's Club carries the i950s

It runs $238 and includes the usb printer cable and a Dazzle 6-in-1 media reader. I assume that the 's' is what make this bundle a bit different than what you'd find at a non-membership based store like Sam's.

Stephen,

I use the rolls of Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper. I have both 4" and the 8.3" width rolls. I just cut the proper length off the roll. Works great.

Thanks FTB....I was looking at those and wondering how they would perform in the i950.....I just bought a paper cutter that would be perfect for this......

Epson and Canon generally respond well to the same papers. It is "double a4" 8.1 x 23.5. Not quite as glossy as PGPP or especially PPP, but it looks pretty decent.
