Amazon Prime members automatically have unlimited full-resolution photo storage through
Amazon Photos. RAW files are unlimited too. Video files are limited to 5 GB.
You probably have your hard disk photos arranged by folders. But Amazon Photos are accessed more like a database. The default view is by most recent photo first, but you can also search by date, location, person (using face recognition), or description (using scene recognition). I see my account has Albums and Folders, but I've never tried using them.
I was using it about a decade ago, but my cable ISP upload speed was a pretty miserable 10 Mbps at best. Uploading a massive amount of data became a miserable chore. I recently switched to fiber internet with 10 Gbps up/down speeds so I might try it again.
