Hey,

I want to buy the monochrome body and pair it with a 20mm prime lens.

I know little about Pentax, what lens do you like for that combo?

20mm absolute? There are two 21MM lenses in the Pentax range, I have the DFA 21 limited and I'm delighted with it, but it's a full frame lens and the DA 21 is smaller and cheaper. I've never done a side by side comparison so I can't tell you how good the latter is. The former is very good indeed.

20mm equivalent to Full frame, i.e. about 14-15mm absolute? There are some nice offerings from Pentax which I'll let others comment on because I don't own any, and sigma's 10-20 zoom covers both equivalent and absolute, and is very popular (I owned one before switching to full frame).

If you want a 20mm equivalent in an autofocus lens, the DA 15mm Ltd. f4.0 and the recently discontinued DA 14mm f2,8 are the only Pentax lens options. I've had both, the DA 15 Ltd. is very compact and has better contrast than the DA 14 which also large and heavy.

Any Pentax APS-C body (like this new K3-IIIM) will go perfectly with the DA 20-40 Ltd. lens, though primes like DA 21, DA35, DA70 are very good as well. The wider DA15 might not be optically as good.
Most of the time people say DA15 is not optically very good, but in fact it's just that the corners are weak in terms of sharpness. So it depends on what parameter of optical quality matters for your photos. If you're after a wide angle that is very resistant to flare and ghosting, the DA15 suddenly becomes very good. I don't own a lot of wide/normal primes, but it's the best I have regarding this specific parameter.

DA Limited 21mm f/3.2 if you're looking for something compact. I've heard good things about the DA 20-40mm but I've never used one.
