I was trying to get some pictures of colorful clouds at sunset, but they never really materialized, so instead I tried various angles, focal lengths, and color settings to see what variety of shots I could get without changing my subject or its positioning.
I'm really happy with the results. I know that a camera with a better sensor could resolve more detail in these handheld low light shots (hell, my smartphone camera might be able to), but it was a fun way to spend an hour outside in beautiful weather, and I have some stuff I wouldn't mind putting in a photobook or on my wall at the end of the day (in addition to sharing on social media).
And the dead simple brightness, color temperature, and saturation tweaks you can do while staying in multi-shot auto really made me feel like an amateur artist. I will miss those if I ever upgrade and have to do it mostly in post or fiddling with several settings.
