Do you have manuals for flash and camera? If not you can download them from Panasonic for free. Info should be there.

Please check the following:

Wish the above can help.

In addition to alcelc's post, and assuming from your post you bought a used LX100, if you you have not already done, you should the camera's "RESET" to reset all camera settings to their "default" settings: (following screen-shots from LX100 PDF Advanced Features manual)

Click on YES for "Reset Rec. settings?" and "Reset setup/custom settings?"

The Panasonic.com LX100 site is HERE. From this site's "Manual & Support" link you can download the PDF Advanced Features manual.

As you may know, digital cameras have LOTS of different settings, and some settings will limit/ disable others settings; which can be quite frustrating to a user who is unaware thereof.

Hence why Important to download/ READ the "Owner's Manual for advanced features"; and when buying a used camera to RESET all camera's settings to their DEFAULT settings is important.

The Panasonic Manuals are not the easiest to follow/ understand, especially if one has not thoroughly read the "How to use this manual" and "Before Use" sections to understand how the various icons, notations, and nomenclature for camera's controls are used in the manual.

You do not need to read the "Owner's Manual for advanced features" cover-to-cover, read the sections pertaining to the features of the camera you want used; i.e., I'm not interested in video so I have not fully read the video sections—just did a quick glance to see what's available.

Cheers,
Jon

Thank you all.

i have owned a LX-100 for a year some 4 years ago until it broke down. Now using Fuji X-100V after owning the S and the F.

I bought the current LX-100 “new” from Curry’s, ex-display. Paid half price as had no box, manual, battery, flash. Just the body.

in the past I enjoyed the LX-100 so much. Gave that one to my daughter.
