Notice how I removed the blue color cast

Yes, nicely done - lifting the eye area out of the shadows and retaining the color/saturation of the yellow breast (although that might just be the side-effect of removing blue cast)
Yeah, thanks. It wasn’t a side effect of that, but then I realized the saturation was gone so I added it just in the yellow Chanel.
Then that is even better, good work.

Well, I got a new feeder set up today that will get me better shots in my yard. Instead of one big feeder pole with a perch below it, I got two new shorter feeder poles with a perch in between them that is higher, therefore the birds will land on it more.

The lighting is rough right now, full sun, but I wanted to practice with some birds on it. Later, the lighting will be much better, and I should have some good stuff to post tomorrow.

Anyways though, here are the two bad light shots,

back to our normally scheduled program...

well, not quite, while waiting, walked over to a garden center, and used always carried Panasonic LX100:
good shooting, been wondering where you find these pretty things....garden center. thanks.
Thanks. But sorry to disappoint - rarely go to a garden center. Yesterday was due to using waiting time.

That's why I had to use the "always carried" LX100, instead of the usual FZ80.
The "usual FZ80" pics were all from my subdivision/estate where flora/fauna were taken over last 2 years of pandemic "isolation".
