What are you asking exactly? The exact resolution in pixels? Wouldn't it be the same as the first Osmo Pocket?

I found this:

Panoramas:
  • 180° Pano: Captures four photos for sweeping landscape images.
  • 3×3 Pano: Merges nine images for a wide and detailed view.

This is accomplished in Photo mode and stitched? Totally Interesting! I was suddenly wondering if the Pocket had a mode where it's gimbaled head turned 180 degrees and made one single exposure. Which would be very cool!

The pics in the other thread are amazing and the one commenter saying they looked soft... no idea what that was about I pixel peeped a lot of them and this makes me want to go by a Pocket 2, even though I am trying to NOT own every damn action camera ever made!

Of course, it is not one single exposure, it is three exposures stitched into one picture. So, if anything moves, you can get odd results.

The GoPro MAX takes enormous high-resolution panoramas with a single exposure, so there can be moving subjects. One snap, instant panorama. See:

The phone app will process the pano photos in 180 or 9x9 in app.

I'm looking at FOUR 4000x3000 jpegs (180 pano), and the resulting in phone app stitch is 4368x1062. I see crop on the left side.

The DJI Media Maker - 10154x2394. A lot less crop.

It looks like my Osmo Pocket 1 is now producing dng-Raw images with Jpegs for 180 Panos.

It wasn't doing this November 2019 the last time I took any panos.
