I made the mistake of pointing the camera up. NOT GOOD.

Horizontal didn't get enough of the photo though.

I tried playing with Horizon Leveling setting in the camera, I don't think I noticed a difference.

I have to retest. I was playing with the camera too much and forgot which photos where taking with which setting and pointed which way (straight or 45degrees up). Senior moments I guess.
 
OK - I finally figured out horizon leveling.

It only keeps the horizon level when you turn the camera left or right.

Does NOTHING when you point it up/down., so there's no effect on my distorted photo.

Wasn't obvious because I thought I was always keeping it flat enough when shooting straight ahead.
