Another Sunday, another route to hike, new life to photograph :-)

All more than 100% crops and edited to my taste in LR. Wish I had some more zoom at the long FL, but center sharpness of the 16-80 is really good.

And some more, not as good as the first ones

One of my few HDR efforts (done in LR). Not very impressed by the land, but I like the sky

because borders are really subpar here you get centers which are excellent it is known..

16-80 Corners are softer when compared with more expensive lenses (16-55) and that is expected. The 16-80 main problem is that price difference with the 16-55 should be a bit higher or in other words the 16-80 should be a bit cheaper.

I fully agree the lens is too expensive should be rather 650 € instead of 800same the 18-135mm is too expensive

In fact the issue is when you compare the results of 18-55 16-80 18-135mm with the set of small primes XF, it begins to be night and day (16mm 23mm 50mm 35mm the the Viltrox 85mm)

16-80 costs now around 700USD (729 last time I checked). I don't have the 18-55, but had the 18-135 (which I also liked) and have the 35, 50 and 60mm primes plus the 10-24. When I compared it with some of my primes and the 10-24 I didn't find that much of a difference though, definitely not night and day...

On the other hand, to be honest whenever I have shot a landscape with flora, both 10-24 and 16-80 lenses are not great at borders and wide focal lengths (16mm and wider). I think apart from softness there is also more distortion in the Fuji lenses.

Good looking set Yannis
