Lens Porn Revived the Fujifilm 200mm f/2.0 lens

Thx Benjamin. Got the point vividly with the beautiful captures. I was just wondering if you will get a similar separation by going closer to the subject with the gfx/110 given how smoothly the 110mm can render.

The subjects and the gear are stunning.

That is why I have the Fujifilm GF 250mm lens that renders the images a bit more closely to the 200mm X lens in terms of perspective at least.

How about a 200mm F4.5 lens for the rest of us, a nice sharp Fuji prime that doesn't require the sale of a house or car?

It's an incredible lens with and without the f/2 1.4x converter.

I'd go so far as saying it's the best telephoto lens I have ever used. Best, in terms of sharpness, beautiful rendering of out of focus elements and build quality.

One quibble: I don't think that I'm a prude, but I don't consider "porn" to be a joke. It is also way overused, e.g. food porn, house porn, etc., etc., etc. Perhaps you could resort to "drool" or "prized possession" or some other epithet. Please don't take offence, I mean this constructively. Regards.

Fantastic shots, fantastic lens. Agree with JS though on the word "porn" - there's simply better words that can be used. It doesn't violate any guidelines but it's not really a cutesy epithet regardless of (unfortunately) how often it might be used.

All shot wide open. ISO 80 and 160. Shutter speeds were variable as I shot aperture priority using a mono-pod.
