We paid for our hotels and airline tickets already and don't see a problem receiving refunds if NBC Los Angeles cancels or postpones Tokyo 2020

NBC in Burbank, California has booked $4 Billion in TV Commercials. In the past Burbank has made all of the decisions for the Olympics. The IOC simply goes along with Burbank's orders. Hope this helps.

This seems to be changing rapidly. Canada has pulled out, Japan's PM has for the first time expressed his doubts about opening on schedule and only Japan's Olympics Committee seems to be holding out hope of staying with it. Even the IOC is waffling.

The W League Grand Final (Aussie women's pro soccer) was held Saturday in an empty stadium. Nobody wants that for the Tokyo games.

I suspect we'll know within a week or so.

Hard to guess when we'll again have sportsball. It will be a longer time than most imagine and some leagues will scratch 2020 entirely.

I have seen two conflicting stories. One is that people have been reinfected by COVID-19 which means it's mutating and will be hard to stop. In the other, they've determined that COVID-19 is not mutating so a vaccine should be easy to produce.
