Looks like they are being made at different locations, like China.

We already have the FBI looking into this :-)

There was another thread about this and it seems the general consensus is that the camera is made in China.

Someone posted a picture almost identical to this where it said, made in China but some people thought this only indicated where the card reader is made.

Actually, from reading comments and guesses it's hard to know for certain where the camera is being made. A lot of manufacturers are moving their manufacturing out of Japan and I've also wondered if the new X100V is still being made in Japan.

Most people believe "made in China" is okay but I'm not convinced. :-)

Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me,
Other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long, strange trip it's been.

Fuji stated on FB the XT4 is being made in China and Japan.

In one of his videos, K.W. stated that the parts were made in Japan, but to keep prices down Fuji assembles hem in China. That would explain the sticker on the camera reading made in Japan.

Then hes wrong. Lol. There are samples out there with made in china and made in japan stamped on them, and as I said, fuji replied on their official FB pages saying they are made in both countries.

That really surprises me. Manufacturing any camera model in two different locations seems like a bad business decision and even something that would add to production costs.

Doesn't make sense to me but I'm sure Fuji knows what they're doing.

The XT3 was the first to be made in china in the XT series. I actually picked up a copy of the XT3 kit with 16-80 lens and it was labelled made in japan. Seems fuji shifted production of at least some units without announcing it.
