A6000 firmware version query

I recently purchased the SEL70350G for use on my A6000 which is on firmware version 2.0.

I'm considering whether to upgrade the f/w to a newer version (3.20), before I do so please can anyone tell me:

• will unofficial OpenMemories Framework apps still work?
• will it allow me to customise the function of the focushold button on the SEL70350G?
• any other advantages with using the SEL70350G? AF speed/improvements? Image quality?

• I don't own the lens but I'm sure it will
• forum members have noticed slight improvements in startup time and likely in AF but not so noticable

As firmware version 2.0 is pretty old I recoomend in favour of upgrading but follow the instructions very carefully.

I decided to go ahead with upgrading to 3.21 so I can now answer my own questions:

• OpenMemories Framework apps still run, at least the Synology Uploader and Timelapse ones do.
• No, there are no new options under custom key settings
• Difficult to tell if there any improvements to AF or image quality (not that I feel they needed improvement).
