The Samyang AF 24mm F1.8 FE (branded as Rokinon in North America) is a wide-angle lens for full-frame Sony mirorless cameras that the company is targeting toward astrophotographers. The lens has a switch which sets the focus to infinity and blinks to indicate the change.
Optically, the 24mm F1.8 has 11 elements in 8 groups. Special elements include aspherical, HR and ED glass. A 'UMC' coating reduces ghosting and flare. The lens's minimum focus distance is 0.19m (7.5") and maximum magnification 0.12x.
The lens is lightweight at 230g (8.1oz) and is sealed in five locations.
