Does anyone know what the largest SD card an EOS 6D Mark II can use?

I'm not sure what sparked the question. One consideration might be to use something less than the maximum. I can use bigger cards, but don't go higher than 64 gb just so that it forces me to change cards from time to time, partly as backup. So if one malfunctions then I haven't lost everything. The bigger the card, it seems the higher the risk you lose everything and the time it takes to change cards now and then is very small and they are small enough that carrying extra is no problem.

I'm looking for that too

So far a Kingston Canvas Select Plus 256GB works fine

Maybe it's better to use more small microSd cards to minimalise the risk by damage

The max size is 2 TB. That's the standard for SDXC. I think max available on the market is 1TB, or 512GB, but SDXC is rated up to 2TB.

I got the information from the Canon forums. This is for the 6D 1, 6D 2 should be the same.
