Is it possible to use a lens hood when using step up rings?

I have a 67mm filter and 43-67, 58-67 step up rings for two different lenses. I heard something about rubber hoods, but they are required to be screwed into something. Is there any slip over rubber hood? I can't think of any other way. Obviously I am fine with the 67mm lens as it has a hood already, just wondered if I have any options for the other smaller ones.

What filters are you using?

I do have a screw-on rubber hood, but I do need to be careful that I don't use it on a lens that will cause vignetting.

Screw the hood into the step-up ring - what's the issue?

The 67mm hood he has may not be a screw on type (could be a dedicated bayonet one) but yes if he buys a 67mm screw on hood it will work with all of those step up rings.

Not see one so far, mostly screw on type.

I rather use the specific hood designed for the lens instead of a one-for-all good due to possible vignetting particularly on wide angle lens. I have a screw on one but only for shooting through window use. Generally I use specific hood for each lens.

I might understand the reason behind OP, but I rarely use filter (ND or CPL) + hood together.

See the B after the 73 ?

It means bayonet , they are pretty common.

Dear friend, I am sorry had not made it clear in my post. It was about those rubber hood (collapsible) I suppose OP concerned.

The Op commented :

it was then speculated that maybe because his hood is of the B type he does not know that the screw-on type screw into the same filter thread as filters do, the thread also used by his step up rings.

But i don't know, just speculating.
