Not even close. Nikon 14-24mm is basically for general photography.

"By Far the best Camera I have ever owned" I'm surprised considering you have a D810. What do you shoot?

Other than the fps and AF for BIF, I could take it or leave it. For me, and everything else, I preferred the D810.
