Using DxO Photolab. Found I cannot read all A7 III files. These were shot using compressed RAW. Anyone else had any problems? I would guess that it is about one in seven that it says are incompatible.

Uploaded it yesterday so I would guess that it is the right one. As I said, it does load some files - it couldn't load any before - but not all.

I would uninstall it, reboot, re-install, reboot, then try again.

It sounds like you may have traces of a previous version mixed with the new version (educated guess).

The same thing is happening to me. Its very strange most open but it seems to be complete folders that won't open.

Have you copied the files to a hard drive, and then attempting to load them into Photolab, or are you attempting to load directly from the SD card?

Does it matter? I was planning on going straight from the card. I haven't tried it yet though.

Mine had been imported to the hard drive with capture one, some of the folders load fine, others I get a question mark,I also checked adobe bridge and all the camera info is there sonyA7 iii.

Here’s my personal experience....

If you have Photolab open when copying the files to a folder that photolab is using then some of the files are unreadable by phototlab, or at least that’s what the error message suggests, but do not fret, your files are ok, close photolab, move the files to a different folder (new or old) then open photolab and navigate to the folder you just placed the files, it will magically be able to ready them all.

You can send me a cyber beer, if it works of course.

I will give it a try...

To bad there is a problem with A7RIII and Batis 85. Both Batis and Sony lens profile pop up for install, but I am not able to use Batis profile. EXIF data is okay. Is this also happening for the A7III?
