I've been using Optics Pro 11 Elite for about 10 months and downloaded the trial of PhotoLab and tried it last night. Neither has support for the Canon 5D4/Tamron 24-70 f2.8 G2 combination. I contacted support and got a reply that didn't give any timeframe for adding this support. Any ideas what the timeframe typically is for DxO to add new lens support to their products?

If they don't list a lens on their roadmap then there's no way to know for certain whether it'll ever be added. It depends on demand, but typically, it takes only a few months.

At certain times, such as when a lot of new camera models have been announced, it can take longer.

I've always found them to be pretty swift, but I tend to put Canon lenses on Canon bodies. DxO's first party support is better than their third party support, they currently have 131 Canon lenses supported on the 5D4, but only 19 Tamrons.

I must say I am curious as to whether any of the manufacturers send them lenses to profile, or indeed whether individuals ever send them lenses though?

They have a lens request page here:
