I purchased this lens for the specific use of it's trying to use for wedding ring and macro photography. I'm a semi pro photographer who loves the world of macro and detail shots. This lens is quite a beauty although being fully manual, wide angle and best of all being a 1:1 ratio macro use as well. I have a better control over my tiny subject while shooting in manual. This lens is very sharp yet vignettes at the corners. Just the other day I went to the Brooklyn botanical gardens and shot with it all day, and I was quite impressed with my captures of flowers. Another feature on this lens is shift function, that I've yet to use properly. This lens is not perfect but it will blow you away with time. I will add some of the shots I captured for this lens to help give a visual example.

Interesting. Had my eyes on this one last year and almost forgot about it. Like other Laowa lenses it seems to do something unique. This year I still consider this 15mm and their 105mm as I'm looking for a wide APSC as well as a good portrait lens...

Among others. Thanks for the review and the reminder :-)

It's an interesting lens indeed. Great shots!
