Thank you, Jim. Well, from time to time, I make a few bucks from people in Europe who are curious to know what is going on in the New Continent!... ;-)
Your images tell the story and have visual punch.

I really appreciate your encouraging feedback; thanks a lot!

Kind regards,

You are quite welcome. Do continue to post.

Hi Louis

Even though the Trump election is fairly constantly on the news, we do not really see the scenes like these on our news.

They are a powerful reminder of what is going on in the USA

Regards,

Al

Louis,

Well, not much to say: great images as always. I like them all.

Hope you're faring well, my friend.

Wish you all the best,

Joseph

Louis, glad to see you're still here, mon ami! These are images with your usual touch! I like them all but found #9 to be very moving and powerful.

Trust you and family are well?

Cheers!

Dear friend, thank you very much for your kind words, although I am not sure at all I have achieved any "Leica Look" in this set, despite my long and frequent visits to museums! ;-) Maybe I need a M 10 for that; or maybe, I need some private lessons from our new experts in this forum! :-)

Nice to have you back and I hope everyone is doing great in your family! Your kids must be grown-ups by now! :-)

Best regards,

Thank you so much, dear Joseph.

I hope your having a pleasant winter. The weather is crazy over here. Yesterday, it was 70 F (about 20C), and today it was snowing!....

With best wishes to you and loved ones,

Hello, dear Louis.

A response to your question: it's been very very cold till about a week ago but with little snow. Now it's getting warmer already and winter may be soon over.

Very best and happy shooting: by the way, my E3 drew its last breath end of December; thinking of buying into Fuji now, an X-Pro 2. We shall see.

Kind regards and a big hug,

Joseph

Paul, thank you so much for your kind feedback!... We are living in weird times, don't we?... It reminds of Europe in the 30s!....

Nice to see you visiting the forum. I hope you post us some shots, too.

Hooray Louis, I love this one!

X-Pro seems to be such an attractive camera. If I was not a red dot fan, this would be my camera of choice; but very different from T that I very much enjoy!

Good luck, my friend,

I am a red dot fan as well, Louis, and am heavily invested in Leica, but I'm rather angry with them right now as they didn't do a good job on my M9-P and returned it with a dirty new sensor (you may want to take a full size look at the sky of the attached image which shows several dirt specks).

Nothing is no more like it used to be, Louis, and even Leica is succombing to the ongoing Japanese trading rule where time is money and customer's care begins to be like chasing a piper dream :-)

Oh well, it's really no big deal: I'll make my M9-P do as is, I'll eventually buy a Fuji and save the money I would have spent on the M10 ;-)

Kind regards,

Joseph

Gorgeous colors, dear Joseph.

Leica doesn't seem to be the same, indeed. Even their Rep in the US that was my very best experience of customer service is not the same anymore! I believe their success with Q and SL put them in a completely different category!...

As for myself, I just can't enjoy "all-in-one" Japanese cameras anymore. Ever since I have T, I haven't touched my Nikon DSLR. I don't even enjoy my AF zoom on T!... :-)

all the best,

Alex, thank you very much for your feedback.

I prefer to abstain any comment; I am just reporting an event as a photographer! :-) ;-)

Kind regards and enjoy your trip to beautiful Italy.
