Soligor lens on canon eos 1200d

Hi.



Just picked up an old Soligor lens. Its a 80~200mm F/3.5 - i was wondering what kind of adapter id need for this.

Normally at the mount end of the lens there would be an aperture control ring. It looks like you must have a "preset lens" with the aperture control near the middle of the lens. The threaded portion at the end is probably a T-Mount and you can get almost any kind of adapter to fit.

Can you show us more photos of this lens?

It may also be an M42 mount. If so, there are also lots of cheap M42 adapters available to fit your 1200D: M42 to Canon EOS EF adapter

This Soligor 250mm f/4.5 looks to be very similar to the photos you posted.

Here is how it looks with a T2 mount. T2 and M42 mounts both use a 42mm thread but with a slightly different thread pitch. I would buy one of each and see which one fits better.
