Questions for A7 series shooters

I have a few questions for those that shoot with the a7s.
I am surprised ... you are asking "those that shoot with the A7S" only, but, their opinion about A7 and A7R. Anyhow, my reply as a A7R and A6000 owner below -
What are your favorite subjects?
All types of photography situations
Favorite features about the camera
Feature loaded and yet very user friendly and small. I bought the A6000 recently as a second body to share lenses with the A7R. But, seeing that a A7R a very reliable workhorse, I tend to use A7R for most of the situations - even with macro with SEL30 Macro and SEL 12-18 (these being APS linses, the A6000 would give more pixels, but, I find A7R quite capable even with these APS lenses. My favourite features are Exposure Compensation wheel and DMF as they allow me instant control to override.
Any professionals using the a7s, a7,a7r for portraits, weddings, etc
On professional in a recent photoshow mentioned that he really likes to use his A7 for weddings, but, afraid that its small size may not impress his clients. Opinions given to him by the speaker and many in audience was his portfolio of sample photos with A7 should impress the client and not the physical size of the Camera. Some even jokingly suggested that he should carry around his Canon/Nikon to impress his cusotmers, but, take all the photos with his A7!
Video, ease of use (focus, manual or auto)
I do not use Video much, but, I plan to take more often. (I still have clips that I have not edited!)
Auto focus speed for photos
I rely on its fast autofocus ... it meets my need when I have to take action photos (I know that my A6000 will be faster. That is one of the reasons why I bought it as a second body. However, seldom I found the A7R autofocus not quick enough. On the otherhand, I am impressed with its accuracy of focus.

I keep the camera in DMF mode most of the time. So, whenever I have few seconds to manually focus, I override the autofocus to fine tune the focus. In these situations, I am not concerned with autofocus speed, because, it is very much faster thatn my manual focus speed
Any one using it with the canon lens adapter
None. I decided to use only Sony native lenses for E-mount.
Largest prints you've done from it
No plans yet, but, considering doing it.
Fun factor
I look up on camera as a complex tool with many features. I find A7R lots of fun as it supports many features for me select and use. Yet, it is easy to uses. In my opinion it is a keeper for me.
Favorite lenses a-mount or native e-mount
Sony 24-70 and Sony 70-200 (full frame lenses)

Sony 30 macro, Sony 12-18 Ultra wide, and Sony 35mm 1.8F (APS lenses)
So many people are focused (pardon the pun) on the specs, I'm actually more concerned about the fun factor, breadth of uses, depths of functionality. What images that you've taken that really excite you, they don't have to be photo contest winners, just images that you love that make you happy with your A7s, or A7 or A7r.

I'm leaning more to the A7s because I'm doing more low light videography however I'm open to suggestions. I take a ton of pictures also. I like to take more nature oriented photos, sunsets, stormy skies, mountains, flowers, etc, but also do a fair amount of kids, people.

I might be blowing some of the prints to 24x36 canvases, some might be professional some are for fun. The professional uses would be second shooter for my wife's photography business (she shoots with the canon 6d). The fun are for personal pictures, but also my wife and volunteer at various places so we take a lot of pictures that some have been printed to hang on walls celebrating events.

I've thought about other camera's but the a7 series keeps coming to the top of the list, so I wanted to hear your thoughts about how the A7 series, why you love it or hate it.

Great feedback. How does the dmf mode work in practice?

That is so cool. It reminds me of the Olympus auto+manual for the e-m1. Same concept but seems like sony nailed the implementation better. I can't wait to try it next week.

Just got my a7s today. Definitely the camera I imagined it would be. I love it. Low light is amazing, the colors are fantastic.
