Are all Nikon F-mount lenses usable on the D3100?

I have a lot of old F-mount lenses for Nikon analog cameras (Nikon F, Nikkormat, Nikon FM) and was wondering whether they can be used on the Nikon D3100 DSLR.

Almost all. There some old invasive fisheyes that would break your mirror if mounted.

Almost all can be used, as pointed out if you have fish eye that goes into the mirror box, then no because the D3100 does not have Mirror up shooting option.

anything without a internal (non AF-S) motor will not AF and you better have good vision to MF in that tiny viewfinder

anything without a CPU (AI, AI-S) will not detect a lens and you have to shoot in M mode and guess/chimp exposure, but otherwise work fine
