Purchased the Epson L350 ink jet in Bangkok Thailand. The small ink capacity of ink jet printers have always been an aggravation to me. Now I don't have to worry about running out of ink. The Epson 350 will produce an amazing 6000 prints before the printer tank needs refilling and the ink cost is very resolvable, $6.00 per color. Cost of the printer is approx $200 based on the Thai exchange rate.

It does an excellent job of photo printing with print speeds comparable to other high end ink jet printers. Normal printing is where the printer really stands out. Print speed is almost as fast as a laser printer. This is an all-in-one printer. It scans and copies as well. I have placed a pen on the printer to give an idea of its relative size in the picture below. When I purchased the printer it came with Epson bottles of ink to fully charge the tank plus an extra bottle of black ink. The printer tank can be seen on the right side of the printer.

The bad news. This printer is only available in Asia. However, included on the CD that came with the printer was the instruction manual and functions for the printer in English. This may be an indication that it may be eventually available in Europe and the U.S. I am living in Thailand now as an ex--pat from the U.S. so ink purchases here are not a problem

Has anyone figured out exactly what is EPSON doing with this series of CISS AIOs printers. Why are they only available in some Asian countries? Have they ANY plans to offer these printers to the WEST? Or do they think we can afford tiny OEM ink carts better so screw us?

Hopefully not.

This looks like a great option and at the prince of the ink replacements, practically no one would be driven to try to convert it to 3rd party inks.

Though I am currently using a CISS on my Artisan 720, I would absolutely buy one of these AIO CISS printers!

I have the L110 series for my daughters school works. It is wonderful machine and produce stunning photo quality 1440dpi best prints. I print all the time with this in A4 sizes. The inks don't seem to want to end. They gave an extra black ink bottle. Those ink are cheap too. Cost only $7 pr 70ml bottle. I'm happy and my daughter is happy too.

so 7 USD per 70ml
thats 100 USD for 1000ml

I pay around 29 USD for 1000ml non OEM refillink thats 2.03 USD for the 70ml...

(Dye Ink prices NOT for Pigment ink!)

So basically I save 71% of the ink cost with my solution for Epson P50/ T50 and 1400/1500w

No thank you I will stick to my refilling Ciss option :D

Ok the L300 is a 4 color printer I dont really can say that it is pigment based as the Durabrite Ultra based printers

the epson L800 in other hand is the 6 color dye version with Light cyan and Light Magenta

70ml bottels are aviable in poland for ~10€ / 14USD each

Serhat, there are plenty more non originals refills in here with ever competitive low prices. But then again, I'd rather stick to the originals. Epson originals refills is already cheap.

Happy printing Serhat.
