We've had this camera along with a 1D II for about 18 months ..... it was alot of money but has done exactly what we wanted. The image quality is superb and gives good ability to crop as required. Focusing is very sharp - as expected and noise levels low.
Problems:
First body had a sensor problem but was replaced without quibble - as it should be at this price ! Second body has been OK but shutter button was too sensitive and went in to be sorted after about 15 months of use ..... which cost £150 'ish !
