Hi,
A couple of days ago I bought a refurbished Canon G1 from Jessops in the UK, as a replacement for my Nikon Coolpix 950.
I spent most of today taking pictures with it, and have been generally very happy with it. On looking at my pictures on screen I notice that one pixel is always pink, in the same place.
It is particularly evident on blue skies, and is very prominent when viewed at 100%
I'm thinking of returning it, I'm wondering if I might have problems returning it as it may not be considered a fault, can a faulty pixel be regarded as being within tolerance? Am I being over picky? I guess it would not take much to clone the pixel in Photoshop. Has anyone had any experience is returning a camera with one faulty pixel?
I'm leaning towards waiting and getting a G3 if I return it.
Any thoughts appreciated,
Many thanks
