Hi Avi,

Take just about one minute to do a search and all your questions about this will be answered. We just had a thread on this no more than a week ago...and it has been debated over and over and over again.

The short of it is...
No
The Canon Pro will not give you what you want to be equal to the UZi...

If you are serious about digital and can live with the 2MP then get the UZi...

I checked all the reviews before getting My E100RS and should Oly come back to me and say that they can't/won't fix it (just for instance) I'll accept the refund and wait for a secondhand Ezi/Uzi to appear in Jessops.. even though Digidepot are doing the Pro90 for £499, it has too many compromises for me, everything from the lack of speed to the lack of macro and nor being able to do this and that, dedicated batteries etc just turns me off it, IS or otherwise..

I think that the Nikon 5700 might be a replacement. It has 5mp and 8x zoom but its a bit expensive for now, around 999$
