It turned out to be a lovely evening in Seattle. The clouds stayed away for the most part, and after much planning (6 months really) I finally got the kind of moon shot photo I have been wanting to get:

It is a composit of over 50 individual images (most detail, but some to reduce noise) and spans more than two hours. This scene wont repeat for another year, so I was glad to get it tonight!

Beautiful!

I take it that each image was shot about every 2.5 minutes? Do you use a stop watch for timing?

Man, I need to get a thesaurus if you're going to keep posting these incredible shots. All I can say is WOW!! And of course, once again, Shay has outdone himself!!

BTW, just realized what time it is where you are. You've been up all night haven't you? :)

Truly incredible shot. I wonder if the NASA folks have seen this one yet? ; )

It is stunning ... In full size, it must be amazing. It is aleready very impressive even at such a short scale. The image is incredibly noiseless. (That WOULD be a winner at Photosig, you should post it) It is a definitive POTD winner and this is per the usual Shay's quality imaging ...

Kudos my friend.

Shay, Talk about sleepless in Seattle. Wanna borrow a couple of toothpicks? Not only NASA should be knocking your door down- does Seattle or the State of Washington know you first hand or appreciate you? Talk about City PR. You got it all & then some.
I'm at a loss for words.... which is almost impossible... 8-D Shayron

Shay, this is just beautiful! It looks so complete with the moon leaving the field of view. And it combines the high res city images that you are famous for, with the staggered moon shots that you are also known for, for one great photo. I agree, we will be seeing a lot more of this image. Congratulations! Joe

How did you do this? Did you just take the best cityscape and paste the moon from the other 49 pictures?

Dan

Once again shay you are unbelievable. How in the world did you figure it would take precisely 2.5 minutes between shots? What settings did you use. Incredible!!!!!!!!
Kudos my friend.
