While I like the subject you caught here (and your documentary, story-telling style in the series), I am not sure about the B&W treatment.

I cannot help but imagine this scene in colour and around sunrise or sunset.

The subject matter is great and the pictures are really nice, but I have to agree with Roel on the B&W. This subject would be best complemented by colour.

I think the B&W is perfect...IMO, the "message" would be confused by using the abundant colors of India...this feels to me like a documentary of life, not a travel slideshow. The lack of color "forces" me to focus on content and to study the "gritty" environment these people call home.

in B&W. It just needs to be done the way B&W film shooters/developers do it...making sure the whole tonal range is accomodated (push/pull, pull/push, Zone system, and all that).

I also meant to add that you have composed the scene with B&W in mind...you just have to process accordingly.
