A small river in Waterton...C&C welcome!

Hello Greylady,

Very nice work on this set of photos.

I like the colors and they have a nice look about them.

If I had to pick a favorite it would be #1 but I like all of them.

Thanks for posting.

Best regards,

harveyf

Very nice set of photos. I like #2 and #5 the best, but they're all great. Thanks for the nice taste of autum and winter in one set of shots. I miss the seasons, don't get muchof that anymore living down here in SoCal.

I think 1, 3, & 4 have the best composition & exposure. Brr! Is it already snowing where you are?!

These are all lovely. Plus it's nice to see your snow. It's been in the upper 80s here for a week, and I'm ready for fall!

Very nice. My faves are the last two, and the latter primarily (though it needs to be leveled).

You'll have to ignore the gallery's collection of bad compositions, improper exposures, and amateurish post processing. ;)

These are some VERY fine landscapes, Greylady! You have a good eye for composition. #2 & #4 are my favorites because they have a strong composition and have the best exposure control (I really love the light in #2). #3 has a perfect exposure but isn't quite as strong compositionally. #1 is very well composed and has beautiful fall colors but its a little hot on the exposure. #5 is also quite hot and just doesn't ring my bell like the others. Nit-picky critiques though and only the opinion of an amateur. In reality they would all look extremely nice framed and hung on the wall! I'll have to keep an eye out for more of your photos.

I took a look at your flickr site. Waterton looks like a beautiful place. My home town is surrounded by mountains also so it makes me feel right at home :-) You have a lot more fine images in your gallery. I enjoyed the visit!

All stunning shots. In the last one I suppose it was your goal to center the riverbed in the frame. I do wonder though if it was placed just slightly off axis - it could still draw the eye into the frame, but it would make the picture less symmetric. But that's just me - I am allergic to anything fully centered in the frame.
