D80 - visit to Budapest

I got back from a 4 days visit to Budapest.

The first 3 days were very cloudy with little rain, I spent them exploring the city.

In the last day I went to an artist village, 20 min. drive, north to the city, it was a nice sunny day as you can see.

All shots with VR 18-200, with some PP (Auto Enhance) in PicturePeoject.

Nice shoots, looked like a fun time. Even with the overcast you captured some great colours. I liked the green doors, the pepers, and the narrow walk, along with many others.

Spent 3 days in Budapest last week myself - lovely place.
Just wish i had my new D40 with me then - not just my compact

Appreciate your preview. I will be in Budapest in September. 2 years ago when I was in Europe I ran into some similar weather. I found that bumping up the contrast in PS seemed to eliminate a lot of the haziness and made the colors stand out more. Just MHO.

You have some great shots. I'm going to Budapest in October and planning to take my D50. Would welcome any advice.
