The baby had the crowd’s attention! These were photographed at the Bronx Zoo in New York City.

Not sure why, but I kinda like the second one best. The mother looks tired in the third one, probably wishing it were nap time.

New to DSLR and having lots of fun learning
 
I think u missed the aperature on these, as they all would have benefitted from a greater DOF...and the framing on the first two is too crowded, leaving too little space to the right.

I agree the first 2 should have been composed with more of the left side cropped. I was after selective focus to place the viewer’s attention as I knew I could not stop down due to the low light. I do see your point regarding DOF, and most so on the dad.

You have really captured the moment.

I find #4 a little distracting however - perhaps crop the left of the picture.

Great subject and great captures.

The DOF is a little shallow as some areas in the subjects seem soft.
