Time to start voting, and as already mentioned this time we'll try online automated voting in the new "CSLR Challenge Voting Booth" at

http://www.liteserv.com/cslrvotebooth/index.php

Please go on over there and start putting down your votes! (Note: There seems to be a one hour time difference for some reason so the voting booth may not be open for another hour). The booth will stay open for two days, after its closing I'll update the galleries to reflect the final standings.

This is new to me as well so I hope those of you who have used this system before can help with any questions.

Please also use this thread to discuss if you like this system of voting and if it should be used for future challenges.

I tried voting for the eligible category, and when I push the Vote button I'm returned back to the start page. Am I supposed to get any feedback that my votes have been registered? When I try checking the standings it says I haven't voted yet (?). Can someone who is familiar with the system please explain what to expect?

I tried to vote but the votes aren't registering it's broken maybe.

The same thing is happening to me. It tells me I haven't voted.

I went back and voted again, again tried to log in to check standings, and again it told me I hadn't voted. Now I don't know if I've voted or not! It would appear not. TWICE yet!

What do we do now???

Hmm, looks like you did everything correctly. Hopefully, Jack is monitoring this thread and will chime in.

Thanks, yep I just tried to vote and it's not working properly. It was fine last week for the CTF challenge, but looks like he's made a few changes since then.

For both the eligible and exhibition categories after I voted I got this message:

Vote Status

VOTE NOT COUNTED: YOU DID NOT CHOOSE 3 CHOICES or YOU CHOSE 2 OF THE SAME IDS or INVALID CHOICES

What is that about? When I went back to try and do it over incase I'd mistyped the ID number, it tells me I'd already voted????? How come it's telling me I already voted if it first told me my votes didn't count?

I liked it the other way. This may be easier for the host, but it's very confusing for the voters.

I hate to be another thorn :(

There are no thumbnails showing, which means one would have to go directly to the gallery, make notes then go to the booth to enter the votes. That makes the booth worthless, pretty much. Can you please fix it so the thumbnails show? Additionally, the CTF challenge, this time around, fixed it so that the pictures you vote for appear at the top next to your points, as a reminder of which is which. This was an excellent ammendment to the already great system. Can you please set that feature as well?

It's just teehting problems. The CTF one works very well, and those of us who have used both systems, much prefer the voting booth. I'm sure Jack will get everything working smoothly soon.
