Should I center this crop better? (pic)

The original is good. I don't even see why you would think to crop it since it is very narrow to start with.
Question of taste, surely, but the original is better to me.
This is one of the selections Nat's mom picked, so I tweaked it as
best I could, but am not sure about the crop, since she appears a
bit off center in the frame. What do you all think? I only took a
tiny bit off either side.

I like the original crop. As it is, it’s very tight already.

One more thing, watch out for blown high-lights; there are some on the toy and some on the socks.

Really cute baby.

I know about them, and I've learned from previous baby posts, that my lights are too close to my subjects. Problem is, that I can't pull them back any further, due to space constraints, and 2 big support poles in the way, down in the basement. moving operations to detached garage soon to alleviate that problem. Time to make some prints!

which makes offcenter pretty much irrelevant, and gives some energy to the picture. Perfectly good. Anyhow, content crowds out everything else, and there's a ton of content in your picture of that cutie.

Make pictures, don't take them - it leaves more for others.

is actually her camera left eye going off in a slightly different direction, and not the actual catchlight. I'm pretty sure it's in the same spot for both eyes, but that one eye isn't where it's suppposed to be! Can't do a thing about that.i think that's called "Lazy Eye." My 2nd kid has (had) it.

The crop is good as is - but when framed (it's a lovely shot and would be proudly framed)... so when framed, assume a min of 5mm around the edges of the print - meaning her right sleeve will be cropped slightly...

it's not much, mind you, and the headroom would also have to increase proportionally, but I'll take another look at it. Thanks for mentioning the room needed when framing, Mike.
