Well, my loong vacations are over. It will take even longer to edit the pics for my "Argentinian" gallery! Of course, many turned into trash due to poor photographer's skill, a few didn't come out as wished due to actual equipment limitations, but I would say that the extraordinary landscapes, nature and people we met there still make a few of them worth viewing.
(Toggle to full sceen view [F11] for better view).
"The Lighthouse at the End Of the World"

"Stormy Weather on Beagle Channel"

"Mountain Landscape in Tierra del Fuego"

"Ice Front of Glaciar Perito Moreno"

"Baby Pinguino at Punta Tombo"

"Tango at Café Tortoni in Buenos Aires"

Of course, suggestions and criticism are welcome. Thanks in advance.

Great photos...The "Perito Moreno Glaciar" photo is stunning.

I'am really looking forward to see more of these "Deep South" photos :)

... it is a "panorama" made by merging two pics. I would have sticked more, to cover the whole ice front, but ... standing on the top deck of a catamaran sailing Lago Argentino under 60 km/h wind and heavy rain... it was impossible!
Thanks.

(= "welcome back" for not-italian-speaking-people)

Waiting for all other posting (those you posted here are great, I like mainly the glacier front, the lighthouse and the tango cafè).
Have you danced Tango, by the way?

Keep organizing the shots, don't waste time looking to the CP8700 or the D70; you will have time to think what to buy later....

Ciao

Yes, but I can't avoid speculating on how many troubles (and failed pics) I Could have avoided with a D70! Yes, it is the handle, but sometimes a better tool can help!
Ciao.

Of course!

Now, I'm planning to proceed more systematically to editing, uploading, and organising the dedicated PBase gallery in different sections foir each location. I will notify in NTF when each part is completed.

It will take some time, however. I'm back to work today, and found my desktop (and my work mailbox) full of "pending" stuff.
Thanks, and stay tuned with the updates!
