Just updated my G9II, S9, and the 100mm macro lens to the latest firmware updates from Panasonic- always welcome new feature updates/bug fixes.
All went smoothly EXCEPT for my S9 update. I updated that camera with the TTArtisan 75mm f/2 lens mounted. The firmware update itself went off without a hitch. But when I restarted the camera, I noticed a series of small concentric bright poorly-focused circles around the center of the LCD. It reminded me of the focusing aids present on an old Minolta camera. I also noticed the lens wasn't focusing normally.
I turned the camera on/off, and it was still there. I then replaced that lens with the Sigma 35mm f/2 lens, and thankfully it was no longer visible- so not a camera body issue. I wondered about a TTArtisan incompatibility with the latest camera firmware, and put the lens back on. Presto, issue resolved. Wish I had taken a photo of the LCD to showcase it to folks, but thankfully there's no longer any need.
Just an FYI if anyone else experiences this.
