Just got this, haven't played with any settings but right out of the box, the images look super bright / over exposed, I tried pressing the minus button to reduce the intensity but no luck, I also tried TTL with no difference.

Any ideas? Using it with the FX2

You mention you have the IT22 F, so is a Fuji model and as such not compatible with Sony TTL. Might be the reason why is overexposing and not changing when using TTL. Can you confirm you have the IT22 S instead of the IT22 F?

I have the IT30 S and it works great out of the box in TTL mode. Giving it just a - 1/3 stop of FEC gives you a very nice mix of existing light and flash, current light conditions permitting of course.

My bad, it is the "GODOX IT22 S TTL MINI iFlash Camera Flash Light,700+ Flashes & 1.5 s Recycling,6 Stops (1/32 to 1/1 Power),Built in Battery with Magnetic Diffuser & Filter (Black, for Sony)"

PS: Please edit the thread title to the correct model

I'm an idiot, I figured it out, I had to push the Flash into the hot shoe all the way in, it was just barely in. That solved it.

Great. Glad you sorted it out. Title edited.

In case anyone is wondering, I am getting some shadow from the flash on my Sony FX2 along with the 50mm f1.2 GM, so I'm going to get the Godox TR-S TTL Hot Shoe Riser

You mentioned -1/3 stop of FEC. Did you do this in the camera settings or on the flash itself by pressin the minus button once?

Oh please let me know where are you getting it from. I've been waiting to be available on Amazon or B&H for weeks, and still nothing.

I also get a bit of shadow with my Tamron 28-200mm, especially at 28mm, but I have managed to fix most of it with a radial gradient on Lightroom. Still I'd prefer to use the raiser.

Did you remove the lens hood? It helps if you do.

I ordered mine from Amazon UAE since I live in Dubai but I noticed that it's shipping from Amazon Germany: https://www.amazon.ae/dp/B0FHJRQRYS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

On a side note, I also see it listed on Amazon US: https://www.amazon.com/TR-S-Extende...Shoe+Riser&qid=1760936292&sr=8-2&x=0&y=0&th=1

I actually didn't, I just tried removing the lens hood and you're right, no more shadow.

In TTL I think it works the same.
