LOL Bill - how'ya'been Keeping old pal ?Damm Adam, when did you let yourself go? Ok maybe you were not the
most handsome guy here, but you do know what you are talking about
when it comes to lens. You are very helpful when giving advice to
others and have helped others save money on unnecessary spending on
camera gear. Maybe we can get a collection together for a make
over?![]()
LOL, you know me Ulysses, I speak my mind and let's face it, if Canon can't be bothered to add often moaned about minor features to their top of the line 1-series, I somehow doubt they'll bother for their "Digicam priced" bottom ender!Terse. Succinct. And unfortunately for the petition crowd, True.![]()
Just speaking my mind again - Heck was the A1 a dissapointment, that thing could have been THE No1 Consumer Digicam but the results look like badly upsampled G1 pics with added noise ;-) and the less said about the 828 examples posted so far the better, they really DID remind me of big webcam pics ;-)Hey! HEY!!!!!!You got a top notch DSLR for LESS than the price of a Crappy Minolta
A1 the time of launch and still cheaper than the vapourware Sony 8Mp
Webcam F828....
So am I - we'll have to keep checking Farscape.com and hope it's announced soonback to me, but have you heard any REAL news on the Farscape
mini-series planned? I'm hopeful.
Nice effort. Let's hope we get some feedback from Canon. But wouldn't it be taken more seriously if we signed the petition with our names AND the s/n of the 300D we own?I've put together this web based petition, that you are welcome to
sign if you want:

(Please give med feedback on my English in the petition, since I'm
not a native English speaker.)
It doesn't matter to DavidP anyway because he owns neither a 300D or a 10D. He just likes to keep the pot well stirred for his entertainment.I know... its funny. They spend more time in the 300D forum
telling us not to whine and say its a waste of time.. HUH?? If you
don’t want to sigh the petition then don’t waste your time. I
promise not to chastise you for not signing it.
I am asking people who sign the petition for their e-mail:Nice effort. Let's hope we get some feedback from Canon. But
wouldn't it be taken more seriously if we signed the petition with
our names AND the s/n of the 300D we own?
Hi there Karl!YOU BOUGHT A REBEL!
It's even called a rebel, so if you bought a rebel, and are now
complaining that it's not an elan, then you are smrat!
It's a REBEL!
I know. Just messin' with you. You know the words that catch my attention.Just speaking my mind againHey! HEY!!!!!!Webcam F828....
I can't disagree with you. Why people were relying upon those as indicators of final image quality is truly beyond me.the less said about the 828 examples posted so far the better, they really
DID remind me of big webcam pics ;-)
It was the best scifi programming on television in a long, long time. Quite possibly among THE best programming on television of any genre while it was running. Thank goodness for re-runs.So am I - we'll have to keep checking Farscape.com and hope it's
announced soon
We had pizza for dinner last night. We ordered a medium, but I think we should have received a large. It was also crippled because it didn't have olives on it. I think the pizza place owes us a large pizza with olives now, because they should never have delivered the product we ordered.I've put together this web based petition, that you are welcome to

When the time comes (and it's coming soon) to drop the Rebel, I'm
going to drop it like a bad habit and move on. There are plenty of
things about it that I'd do differently, some of them probably on
the list of reasons for the petition itself. But when I'm ready to
rid myself of those things and "really" take care of them, then
I'll get a different camera.
Soon.... soon...

I think they knew, but once you find out the features are really there, just hidden with something like this (code of firmware):in asking for such a thing, but you're telling me that no one on
that list knew the impact of such features when they researched the
camera?
When on earth will you people learn this?
It's a Rebel Ti, only digital. please please please understand
this. It has all the same features of the Rebel Ti. (or 300v)
Is this really so damn hard to understand?
YOU BOUGHT A REBEL!
It's even called a rebel, so if you bought a rebel, and are now

It's a REBEL!
Do you absolutely KNOW for a fact that Canon did this?I think they knew, but once you find out the features are really
there, just hidden with something like this (code of firmware):
enableAFchange = false
enableFEC = false
enableSpotMetering = false
