D850 Macro lens

I found my copy of the 105 had lots of CA, bordering on the unusable (jewellery for example), but liked the FL.
I sold it and got the 60/D which I got cheap. Stellar IQ, I use it for scanning negatives.

You need an excellent macro for jewellery preferably an APO macro ..... the contrast from the stones is very high ........

I thought you had to have the Nikkor 105 G to use auto focus stacking with the D850.

Although discontinued the 200 mm F4 macro with "screwdriver AF" is a longer focal length option.

What is the macro lens of choice for the d850? ... I am looking at getting a macro lens and was thinking of the Sigma 150 os version. ... how well does it work with the d850 and what alternatives are there please?
The Sigma 105 macro is a lovely lens; some reviewers even think it is a bit better than the AF-S version! I love the Voigtlander 58/1.4 with a close-up lens like the Canon 250D (58mm version), or the Raynox DCR-250 (snap-on).
