Good ultralight tripod for small, light camera and lens

I recently got a compact and light Canon R6 MkII and a few of their compact light lenses for a lightweight hiking kit. I was originally thinking that with the in-lens IS and IBIS, I could do without a tripod and just up the ISO as needed, but got to thinking that if I could find a light enough tripod to hold the camera steady, it might be worthwhile. The heaviest camera and lens combination would be aa little over 3 pounds.

I would be willing to spend a few bucks for a decent CF tripod

Any suggestions?

The Oben CQL-13 is very light at 700g/1.5lb and very quick to deploy bacause you only twist one lock per leg, not 2 or 3.

That is exactly the tripod I ordered last night! Glad to hear confirmation I made a good choice. I am looking forward to getting it delivered tomorrow. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

Just make sure the locking knob works on all legs. On mine, the top segment of one leg wouldn't stay put. After some coaxing, it eventually resolved itself, but a bit disconcerting nonetheless.

It arrived an hour ago and mine seems to work fine. I am just stunned by how light and compact it is and am very happy with my purchase. Thanks

I am happy with mine, only did a small modification. I drilled a tiny hole, cut M2.5 (or #4 standard) thread, installed a stainless-steel screw in the clamp, and rounded the end a bit. Now, Peak Design plate is secured from sliding out accidentally:

The ball head locks with CCW turn. What? I'm going to pass on that engineering debacle.
