The early bird can...

what settings did you use to take a pic like this? I assume this
was without tripod?
--Another fine thread Feri. Well done!
Here is my contribution. Fishing on Owen Sound.

Thanks for the nice comment Hans.

--Yes it was hand-held. In a boat, so the tripod stays home.

The settings are: ISO 100, f6.7, 1/350 sec, taken at 06:34AM .

In PS I darkened the sky a bit.

...capture the beautiful sunrise early in the morning...but if that
early bird is a crazy Minoltian, he/she can also share it with
fellows on the Forum, why not?

Please enjoy this shot taken today before leaving home:

Follow-ups are more than welcome! :-)) Any morning from anywhere
where there is a beautiful sinrise!

A bit like a marsscape, but VERY GOOD! It would be even better if there would be something to show the actual size of what we see at foreground.

Here is one sunrise in Germany taken on the highway, and 3 sunsets from Portugal.

...I'm so happy you all could catch up with the subject,...sooooo
many beautiful pics have been posted already and hope to see even
more...:-))

I agree with you Jack,...who the heck can distinguish sunrise from
sunset, eh? But it doesn't really matter, actuall I'm to lazy to
copy and paste the exif info showing the time of exposure, its too
much technical stuff...instead I'd like to enjoy as many great
shots here as possible...

And I can also full heartedly agree with the post of Keith of the
sunbeds, ...yeap it is another kind of sunrise/ sunset pic...we do
not definitely need to see the sun on the pic, right?

Thanks so far...and let's continue... I'm gonna look up something
similar to Keith's sunbeds I remember taking in Italy at the beach
last year.

Back soon! :-)

Cheers, Feri
