Mini Challenge #710 Unusual Photos of anything!

Not even a "Ptooey." I shall have you know that that is the sound of someone standing above stuff like that. "Ptooey."

I shall advice you not to make that sound when hunting Mule Deer. They will hear you and you can kiss your pemmican goodbye. Pemmican is an old, indigenous word for pulverized animal tissue; good for toothless wonders. We, on the other hand, sliced tissue, paper thin, then hung the strips on myDad's clothes line, made of galvanized steel, and chased flies all day, until the flies went away. Then, we ate the "cecinas," straight from the air.

Dad, on the other hand would pulverize the meat, mix-mix pulverized piñón nuts, mix-mix spices, all kinds, and coat his finger, stick it in his mouth, sweet, sweet, mmmmmm, ...

And, when. you mix in some creamed avocado, OMG.

Ah, those were the days, myFriend.

Miss My Dad, So, So Much. And Mom taught him fractions. Together, they took his new-found skill, learned with his WWII, GI bill, at El Rito Normal School, and they designed and made a house full of bloody furniture. I have the blue prints. If you look closely, at the foot rest, besides that we used shoes on that, it also has my first tooth marks; mmm, tasty.

The estate chasers took the furniture, but, I hid the cabinet that he hacked apart to install myMom's new kitchen, in our new house, that Dad built, with my five year old expertise.

The leaning houses of Amsterdam:

Some houses in Amsterdam lean noticeably; I think they are that way because of wood foundation. Take a close look at the building in the middle, and the bottom floor of the one just right of center.

If you say so David, but I don't think it is unusual???
David's Balú-dog. They are either deaf or Baloo has selective hearing.

It being my weekly turn to "walk the water," I've only a dream to go fishing. Have you ever drowned your fishing worms in tobacco juice?

That is pretty cool, Kit! I've been to Amsterdam and never noticed that. I can see how that could happen with several hundred-year-old wooden foundations sitting in water. Looks quite structurally unsound. What are they going to do about that?

Greg

David, I can't say that cicadas sounds any more appealing.

Kit
Kit

They are all the rage in Chimayó, New Mexico. I tend to gloss over the idea cuz the "Chimayosos" also raise the best chili in the world. I don't care much about Hatch, NM chili. We don't have a nickname for folks from Hatch.

The piñón tree is also our NM State Tree. The Pine Bark Beatle decimated huge forests of it. The younger trees are up a few. yards more. In six years they will grow the cone. I can already tell. Have to go and. have my camera take pictures.

Not to be outdone, a moth hit trees above the Ponderosa/Juniper/Piñón eco drone. Decimated thousands of acres of Aspen trees. It's a veritable graveyard of trees.

I took a grandson fishing in Canjilón, NM, at the lakes. It's about 10,000 foot level. We had lunch first. Abenicio, "Nicio" busied himself roasting moths with a burning glass. Nicio said that they twitched too, to, tú, tu, too much. Sorry, I am into alliteration.

Pass the chocolate, please.

myValentina and her Papú (Papoo.)

Please make an astute observation.

David
Isabel's ring finger. As far as I'm concerned, rings on left fingers favor lefties. I figure the practice was started by a leftie, in that way, they force the partner to hold hands with their off-hand. Also keeps the boxer's gambit limited to the right hand. I don't know too much about boxing; I'm more the RUN type.

I favor the left; no two ways about it. Free college, jobs in the infrastructure; Noam Sayin? The right is for orange wigs, I mean, Whigs, oh well, . . .

Valentina favors her Papú. So said Milán. You are acquainted with Milan. Milly has relatives in Serbia. (You know where this is going, don't. you?). So, Mil favors Russians.

:-x:-x:-x

Milan's DNA is a good witness. His ancestors have always stayed in the side of the two oceans.

I saw that one already, Dave. Awesome then; still awesome. Hope your Erik is well and hope you are well.

All good, thank you David. And Erik is brilliant and here is a recent pic of Eszti, who will be 14 in a couple of weeks. I love seeing her/them having fun.
When in doubt about gender, say "they."

If you say so David, but I don't think it is unusual???
What? Unusual would be if he were to pop up with a trophy trout. I once hid from a bully on the top branch of that cottonwood tree. Unfortunately, his siblings caught up with me and coated me with poison ivy. Everything swelled, everything. What goes around, comes around, they must have sprouted blisters everywhere.

I used my jackknife a lot on little bullies; ate the by-product also.

I said "I do." Look what it got me.

BalooDog and I had been hiking all day. No water bottles. Cuz, we went to a stream. Hot water, much sand. Only horses will drink it. It was a long mile back home until the farm ditch, acequia, old Arabic word (Spaniards laid that language on us.). Baloo ran down the ridge, with me hot on the trail, chasing him cuz they had my hat in their mouth. ^%$%#^*%&^)(*&

STOP, CRAZY PUPPY, STOP. (I read my "Spot, see Spot run; %&&(*)

I got my hat back, however, Spot, I mean Baloo beat me into the swimming hole. I learned the Dog Paddle in that watercress laden water.

There's much more to be said about ditches, I mean dishes.

The dates are coincidental. The events are coincidental. But, I was thinking about the smoke in your neck of the woods.

Did the smoke from Canada, er, "Cañada," appear this color in New York City? BTW; I cheat. The country by that name is "Canadá, in the Iberians' language. Most of the descendants of the Bering Straight grandmothers migrated to South America. They are now returning.

We all do the "Origin Migrations." only the politics changes. What won't change? 1st Amendment.

What good is a theory without a hypothesis?

The apple falls at the rate of 13 feet per second per second. Good thing it only has five stories to tell. That was the theory back in the day. Today, it's a booga loo in Einstein's Special Relativity and today's Inflation.

No, not the economic type of inflation. the Big Bang's ever so briefest existence; boom, hiccup, bigger boom. I should have worked at Los Alamos Labs. But, no, they brought the labor from the East Coast.

We have another meaning for "La Mancha." Not suitable for the boss looking over our shoulders.

One more note about falling apples; at the instant of contact, the speed increases by the rate of which the floor jumps up to meet it. Horizontally that means; two trains meet, collide at the combined speed of their travel. Sometimes I get it; sometimes I don't. "Coded" twice; brain fog a plenty.

Huh?

Well I live in upstate NY no where near NYC!

David, I get what you're saying, or is it I don't get what you're saying.

Feet per second per second is acceleration, not speed. My physics is perhaps better than a middle schooler, but probably not by much.

Thanks for the response.

Kit

This information was told to us by our tour guide. He did not mention any remedy, and the houses remained occupied. So I guess nothing needs to be done unless the house falls down.
