Has anyone found a workaround to import new Fuji's HEIC files into Lightroom?

Thanks Rick, looks like we’re I’m in good company.

You might be able to open (and resave) Fujifilm HIF files by changing the suffix to HEIF, and/or by following these steps.

https://fileinfo.com/extension/hif

I know GIMP can open and save HEIC images, and suspect GIMP can open HEIF images as well, but I don't have a recent Canon or Sony or Fujifilm camera and can't find any HIF files on the web. If you post a HIF on Dropbox, or email one to me, I'll check.

Thanks. Tried this but unfortunately, this doesn't work. Apparently Adobe only supports iOS/MAc HEIC format....
