*** Mini Challenge 692 There's "nothing" to shoot!***

When you don’t know what to shoot in your backyard, you can always visit the neighbour’s. He died a long time ago but his tomatoes were great! Great guy too!

Regards,
There is always something to shoot/snap, you just have to know how to do it and have the right gear.

This is really a boring express way, except when flooded… I had to get there using a bicycle. Lucky shot.

Stuck on the metropolitan highway, well, not high enough…

This stretch of autoroute was brand new but there was obviously a design flaw. They had to redo it and install pumps under the concrete.

Thanks for looking

I like the way you've reduced the image to its basic elements and let the form "speak". Nice.

That's neat looking. It evokes lily pads floating on very calm water, to my eye. Kind of upside down.

Mt. Charleston Marathon in Las Vegas, NV. Waiting for the runners to come, waiting, waiting . . . . Boredum set in so I shot this picture. Very appropriate at the 23+ mile mark!
I think that applies to much in life! :-D

I think that one qualifies. Have a look at my motto at the bottom.

Something to sip from.
I like these kind of everyday, real world shots. Not that you necessarily have a bottle of port every day, but... :-)

I can get lost in looking at the background details in a way the shooter might not even notice, since they're all new to me. It's kind of like when you drive through a new area for the first time, as opposed to covering the same ground over and over: Same material, different eye. Huge metro panos can occupy me for hours... LOL

Well, my then cat in 2006 got stuck on a grocery bag! Open this side.

Open this side!

With six (yep, count 'em, six... *sigh*) cats currently in our house, stuff like this is always happening. :-D

Our host Len, mentioned in one of his comments that he could look at a large pano for hours. When I lived in Gold Beach on the Southern Oregon Coast, I took a break from shooting wildlife one morning to take in this view of the jetty leading into the harbor and estuary with mountains and clouds as a backdrop. This was 13 vertical panels. If you click on original size and then enlarge with your fingers it brings things a bit more into perspective.

Yep... plenty of detail there! Lots to get lost in...

Watching my son participating in a triathlon, while on the bike portion I had lots of time so wondered around and spotted some Mallards

Our 12 year old grandson decided to make us a duck breast with apple salad. Delicious.

Looked out the back window and noticed some movement across the pond. Heavy crop from the deck.

I've never been there, but from what I've seen Crater Lake is about as pretty as it gets.

Window curtain. I thought the shadows were interesting.

That's not noise, that's the curtain fabric. ISO came in at 6400
