What a beautiful little stream in #8.

This Sunday was quite an easy hike up Grünberg, not far from Gmunden in Austria.
Near the top, Lake Laudachsee was still frozen over. The sun was shining. There were no ice skaters here today.
The view from below with all those blue misty layers

Ice in the light,
Only one brave soul ventured out a few meters while we were there, and he was lucky enough not to break through & die. The ice held him well enough but it looked quite thin in places. There's a long ladder placed nearby, just in case!
On the way back. This is the stream that flows away from the lake

From the composition I like the first of the berry shots. But the focus is a bit better in the second

The vibrant colours work very well here. My fav is #1with its Red/Green/Blue theme , #2 has quite a colour impact too!

#2 & #3 for me. I especially like that punchy contrast in #2 with the bright white frost and the dark shadows on the green and brown foreground.

On walkabout with the 14-140-II on a sunny hazy morning - all 100% Crops in RAW with C1 ..

Good Grief a BIRD from Adam-T !! and a rather shy one too, Heavy crop indeed
A very distant Pharos on a hill heavily cropped too
Dad spends some time with his offspring..
Atmospheric castly thing on a hill shot through a fence
Very distant village
All at 140mm wideopen , yeah the 14-140 "II" still cuts it after 7 years .. this is a real Mk2 as it happens with the weather sealing but the optics are the same . C`mon Pan lets have more of the same in a 12-300
